Donald Trump Jr. tweeted, "You know that 30 Round magazine the left is always trying to confiscate and ban... well now you know why you need them, and they ain't for deer hunting." But here comes Samuel Schwartz, who tragically lost his cousin in the Parkland Shooting. He responds with, "Today Don Jr admitted that 30-round magazines are not for hunting and are explicitly for killing humans... glad we're on the same page." Now, I've got to be honest; what Mr. Schwartz implied is far from what Don Jr. admitted. In fact, it's quite a desperate tactic. We'll go over these tactics that so many people who argue for gun control use. Here's the thing: two ideas can coexist. The Second Amendment isn't about hunting, but there are legitimate reasons for wanting a 30 round magazine, such as hog or varmint hunting, or protecting oneself from large predators during a hunt. But let's be real here. Do you honestly believe that after a revolutionary war, the Founding Fathers' top priority was safeguarding hunting?
