Virginia lawmakers have passed a major new gun bill that could ban the sale, transfer, import, and manufacture of many semi-automatic firearms commonly owned by Americans, including rifles that fall into the same category as the AR-15. The legislation now heads to Governor Abigail Spanberger’s desk and could take effect July 1 if signed.
