Day 2 of testing ballistic and accuracy with an oversized Suppressor. 

At sea level, Subsonic is when the projectile is moving below 1100 feet per second

Target is a dot on the paper about the size of the 22 LR bullet. LOL

Eley Target Ammunition. I should note that I last adjusted the scope for SK Standard Plus and you can see how close the Eley Target shoots to the SK Standard Plus's 

To the left SK Standard Plus Ammunition and to the left you can see how poorly the Winchester Super X groups. Super X is kind of what I grew up with as a kid and looking at the results this ammunition would never meet the standard for target shooting competitions. 

Eley Target below. To compete everything should be within a dime or less on grouping which requires a very accurate manufacturing process.

Some people are saying online that the ballistics will be inconsistent or have issues because of the suppressor size. I am just not seeing it be a problem for what I am doing. Everything looks good to me.

DNR with a committee designed to choose a location decided on the current location which is near DNR Public Hunting ground. 

Problems with the Range are None. 

Problems with little dictators trying to oppress people's rights are many. 

This public range is by far one of the nicest shooting ranges in the area and just 35 minutes out of Madison, Wi.

The range was fully funded on the taxes that Wisconsin residents pay for on Guns and Ammunition.

Part of the problem, when the committee was formed to choose a location, it had members that were against the range being built, which those members should have been kicked from the committee in my opinion.  These are the same people that are trying and continue to try to oppress peoples rights. 

Since implementation, there have been many bogus noise complaints coming from all over from towns down the road. DNR investigating these noise complaints from miles away with decibel readers and could not pick up anything.  

The Range was built to fulfill a public need. Shooting sports are becoming more and more common and popular with that growth people are getting more involved.

Regardless of the complaints, the Range is next to public hunting grounds where there would have been sounds of shots fired anyways and though it's not as frequent, it's a public range, people. Get over it. One suggestion I had was to build a sound wall like the DOT does next to interstate highways at the entrance of the range do deflect sound waves, this would be better than enclosing the Shooter's area locking in ear damaging noise for the shooter. One thing the DNR could do is put hours of operation on it. Set shooting hours so people cannot start before 8 AM and cannot continue after 8 PM

Hmmm, 22LR Subsonic and oversized Suppressor. 

Lets see the sound level. I will say it throws off the shot and will need scope readjusted for this Suppressor. When I have more time I will readjust the scope.

My uncle inherited this progressive and Shotgun Shell reloader and passed it down to me. I love it. 

This particular model was made shortly after Pacific was bought out by Hornady and then made into a division of Hornady. 

It took me 3 years to accumulate all the pieces of the Hornady Ammo Plant. I was waiting for sales on each component and saving my tax checks. Below was me mapping out mounting points. 

My plans for a drop shoot for finished rounds.

Now if you do alot of trap shooting competitions you can remove the shelf on this side and remove the 50 cal ammo. A 5 gallon bucket fits very nicely here. 

Now the shotgun shell reloader has an ideal location for the pull handle that doesn't bother my shoulder. 

Now for the other side of the station. Ammo Plant install. 

As you can see here the pull bar is much lower and the full stroke of the pull leaves you stooping over, not ideal for my shoulder. 

Into fabrication mode I go... GAS MIG Welder check. Steel Plates Check. C - Channel Steel Check.

This is America, WE FABRICATE When we need something. Good old American Ingenuity.   

Just so happens that Colonial Red Matches Hornady Red. LOL

In Action Shotgun Shell re-loader taking off. I loved this project. I wanted to do something you couldn't buy and that was different. You know I was so happy to find out that Hornady still makes and sells parts for the 366 Shotgun Shell re-loader. That is a true testament to the reloading press. How Awesome is that. Hornady has been a great company to deal with. I had a missing spent primer cup and they still sell the parts. They also recommended a couple refurbish parts which were extremely reasonable on prices.
